Cadet First Lt Ella Kidd in attendance – has served the county as flag sentry for several years.  Junior in HS.  Began 5th year in January as flag sentry.  Davis thanks her for her service.
Septic Tank Program Report – 172 properties in the process – 9 sewer hookups – 53 permits issued – 48 contracts signed – 15 completed

Passes Resolution for Payment-In-Lieu-Of-Taxes PILOT agreement – Duracell planning $25 million expansion with potential for 25 jobs – asks for added to next week’s agenda.

Committees/Districts
Alford – Farmer’s Market Committee met last week and voted to temporarily allow the vendor’s building structure to be used with the understanding of limiting electricity used – Vote next session – Troy Spence has looked over and has concerns about some wiring – will only be using certain times
Blake – announces that the director of the library has submitted his letter of retirement – process to find a replacement is underway
Winters – passing of Donna Simpson’s mother today
Mason – Road Committee met last week – voted to recommend the following
Voted Unanimously to recommend – 3 way stop at the intersection of Kile Lake Road and Kile Lake Lane to hopefully improve safety – April 17th voting agenda
Superintendent Collins brought a request for name change correction – Originally Black Fox Road was approved as Black Fox Road and with some issue, BlackFox was together as one word now being changed to two – April 17 voting
Ledford – notes the resignation of Bentley Thomas who has a new job opportunity
SPCA met last week for a committee meeting – good meeting, working on the budget and building future plans
Valley View Ruritan Club Barbecue for Scholarship fund Saturday from 11a – 2p

Road Superintendent Collins speaks on possible intersection changes for the Kile Lake area – concerns over the right thing for the right reason and if it will fix issues – does not think it will solve issues – asked if he expressed his concerns at road committee, says no, he only has come around to the issue in the last day or two
Comments from several commissioners on the subject.  Request that he notify them sooner of concerns.
Discussion of a traffic study.  Discussion of who responsibility falls on and who should be making decisions on these items
