From the Cleveland Daily Banner…

Autumn Hughes reports: Construction of the Partnerships in Industry and Education (PIE) Center is expected to begin July 1, but there are still plans to be made before it is open for the business of education.

Goal Academy Principal and PIE Center manager Kyle Page recently presented the Bradley County Commission with photos and information of the ongoing work at the PIE Center, as well as artist’s renderings of how the building will look when completed.

Page said construction is planned to begin on July 1, with the groundbreaking in late May.

Page noted the school system is meeting with individual tenants about their needs on the site, and they will begin moving into tenant contracts in late March or early May.

Chattanooga police are asking for the public’s help with finding two suspects accused of stealing a trailer loaded with equipment and merchandise for a local soccer club earlier this month.

Police say 28-year-old Aaron Chippoletti and 28-year-old Erika D. Mays are suspects in the theft of a trailer that belongs to the Chattahooligans.

Police say the trailer was found but the equipment and merchandise for the Chattanooga Football Club that was inside it was gone.

Officials for the team say the stolen items are worth around $18,000.

Police say Chippoletti and Mays were last seen traveling in a gray or silver Toyota Sequoia with front-end damage and tape over one of the brake lights.

If you know where to find the suspects or have any information about this case, please call CPD’s Auto Crimes unit at 423-643-5394.
