Bradley County Schools announced Walker Valley High School finished in 1st Place in the State in the ReduceTNCrashes Traffic Safety Awards Program

Bradley County Schools announced Walker Valley High School finished in 1st Place in the State in the ReduceTNCrashes Traffic Safety Awards Program for the 2023/2024 School Year.

 

In just a few months the school went from being tied for last place to climbing 60 spots on the state-wide leaderboard, narrowly overtaking Stone Memorial HS. Their tally of 49,700 points nearly doubled the previous state record of 25,400 points. 

 

The Brittany and Dustin Dillard family & The 24/7 Movement released a statement congratulating the students saying, “They turned tragedy into triumph while honoring the legacy of Brittany & Dustin Dillard.”

 

The Dillard’s were killed in a tragic Christmas Day vehicle accident involving a drunk driver in 2022. Brittany Dillard was a teacher at Walker Valley High School.
