Topping our news today…

Sixteen year-olds Memphis Smith and Abraham Augustin are still on the loose after escaping from the Bradley County Juvenile Detention Center on Friday night.

After their escape, they stole a 2005 Silver Acura, which was recovered at Hamilton Place Mall on Saturday. The pair were spotted in the food court area of Hamilton Place Mall on the mall’s security cameras.

Smith was being held on an aggravated rape charge, accused of attacking a Lee University student on campus. Augustin faces an attempted second-degree murder charge.

A reward of $1,000 is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of Smith and Augustin. Both juveniles are considered armed and dangerous, and you should not approach them under any circumstances.

If you have information on the whereabouts of Smith or Augustin, or you believe you see them, please call 911 immediately.
