From NewsChannel 9…

As the weather heats up, many public pools in our community are beginning to reopen, including the YMCA in Cleveland.

Safety is the number one rule when swimming, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, pools have new rules to follow.

Per the CDC, pools must space out deck layouts so that people are six feet apart, and make sure swimmers keep their social distance.

But managers at the Cleveland YMCA say at their peak Monday, they had 40 to 50 people in the water.

If more and more swimmers show up, the YMCA in Cleveland plans to contain crowds by asking members to sign up before they hit the deck.
