Press release from the BCSO- Sheriff Eric Watson announces the arrest of Anturaum Montazz Dickey, 36, of Cleveland. Mr. Dickey was taken into custody on federal warrants at a Blount Avenue residence by members of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office’s Fugitive Team, backed up by deputies from BCSO, on a tip provided by members of the United States Marshal’s Service. Sheriff Watson further announced an additional charge has been filed on Dickey for possessing a Serbian AK-47 style rifle, which was found with a fully-loaded magazine under a bed in the room where he was arrested. The charge filed at the time of Mr. Dickey’s arrest was Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. The original warrant for which he was arrested was for Violation of Probation out of the State of Virginia through the U.S. Marshal Service. Anturaum Montazz Dickey was booked into the Bradley County Jail. The Sheriff commended the BCSO Fugitive Team and officers who assisted in taking Dickey into custody without incident. The AK-47 style rifle was secured as evidence.Bradley County Sheriff’s Office. Police says they were found together at 811 Sluder Road about two miles away from their home, with only minor scratches. Young Hannah said they followed the dog into the woods Tuesday night then got lost. They then relied upon the dog to help them, and ended up resting near a cell tower. They slept there, with no water or food. Their dog apparently helped lead them out of the woods Wednesday morning, whrere a resident saw them an alerted the search crews Channel 3- BRADLEY COUNTY, TN (WRCB) – The longest-running member of Bradley County’s Top Ten Most Wanted is now in the Bradley County Jail. Jessica Hattie Lacasse, 22, had been wanted since April, 2013 on charges of aggravated abuse and neglect of a child and a misdemeanor probation violation. She was returned to Tennessee from Las Vegas. Her bond is set for both charges, and is currently at $100,200. The United States Marshal’s Service acted on information received from the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Team, arresting Lacasse in Nevada. The Cleveland Daily Banner- Cleveland Utilities and United Way of Bradley County’s Impact Cleveland initiative will receive $3.75 million from the Tennessee Valley Authority. The award comes as a part of TVA’s Smart Communities Extreme Energy Makeovers project. “This is great news for our community, and I commend and congratulate all of the individuals who worked long and hard in making today’s announcement possible,” said Cleveland Utilities President and CEO Ken Webb. “According to a United Way of Bradley County press release, “TVA’s Extreme Energy Makeovers project focuses on homes that are at least 20 years old and located in lower-income communities, making Impact Cleveland’s target neighborhood a perfect fit. The project goal is to achieve a 25 percent reduction in each home’s electric energy use through cost-effective, whole-home retrofits. Each home will go through a building diagnostic and analysis to identify the most cost-effective energy reduction measures.” The local partners hope to select the recipients of the program and begin projects in April 2016.
