Statewide report card scores local school districts

From the Cleveland Daily Banner: The Tennessee Department of Education has released the 2021-22 State Report Card. Cleveland City and Bradley County schools both received good evaluations.

Cleveland City Schools was recognized as a Best For All district and given a “satisfactory” designation. Grades 3-5 scored a 1 out of 4 in achievement, which measures the rate of students meeting math and ELA grade-level assessments; grades 6-8 scored 0.5 in achievement; grades 9-12 scored a 4.0.

CCS was given a 4.0 on its graduation rate.

Bradley County Schools was recognized for being part of the Innovative Schools Model and given the “advancing” designation. Grades 3-5 scored a 4.0 in achievement; grades 6-8 scored a 1.5; grades 9-12 scored a 1.5.

BCS secured a 3.5 for its graduation rate.
