We were joined on the phone by U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn to talk about the Classified documents discovered in Joe Biden’s private office. Some of these documents are going back to the time when President Joe Biden was Vice President.

Blackburn also talked about her recent trip to the Mexico and U.S. border.

President Joe Biden is currently facing a controversy over the discovery of classified documents at his former office in Delaware. According to Biden’s counsel Richard Sauber, the documents were found in storage in Biden’s garage, and one document was in stored materials in “an adjacent room.” The roughly 10 documents are from President Biden’s administration, and their discovery has fueled calls from House Republicans for their own investigations into the matter.

In response to the news, President Biden acknowledged the discovery, telling reporters that he would be able to address the issue soon. Biden owns a 1967 Corvette, which was a wedding gift from his father, and he keeps it in a garage — though it’s not clear it’s the same garage where the documents were found.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed a special counsel to investigate how the classified documents came to be located in Delaware and at the Penn Biden Center. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has said his panel would also investigate the classified document concerns, and he expects to hold related hearings.

The controversy over the classified documents is ongoing, and it remains to be seen what will come of the investigations into the matter.
