From NewsChannel 9: The Cleveland City school board met yesterday and approved new start times for the school system.

Parents, students, and employees were sent surveys in March and were asked for input. The board then used the surveys to finalize the start times that will take effect next school year.

Cleveland Middle and High School will start at 7:30 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m.

Cleveland elementary schools will start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m.

School officials said the current bus driver shortage was a large factor in the change.
