CLEVELAND, TN – 24th District State Representative Mark Hall announces his intentions to run for Tennessee Senator in Tennessee’s 9th district.

“I have served this state and our great country since 1984, when I became a United State Marine. In 2006, I continued to serve the people of Bradley County as a Commissioner for over 12 years, which allowed me to grow in my home town of Cleveland, TN. In January 2018, I announced my intention to run for the 24th district state house seat to which I was elected. While serving in my second term in this capacity, I feel that it is time for me to continue working for the people I represent by serving them in a higher capacity. Today, I am humbled and honored to share with you my intention to run for Tennessee State Senator, district 9 that is currently held by my colleague Mike Bell. In doing this, I hope to continue to serve and provide strong representation, to not only the people of Cleveland and Bradley County, but to the entire area of southeast Tennessee, which includes McMinn, Meigs, Monroe and Polk Counties. I firmly believe that there is nothing stronger then the heart of a volunteer and I respectfully request your support as I seek to continue to serve our families, our friends and our communities here in Tennessee.”

Representative Hall currently serves on the follow committees:
Vice Chair, Transportation Committee
Member, Health Committee
Member, Health Subcommittee
Member, Transportation Subcommittee
Member, Covid-19 Committee of the Third Extraordinary Session
