Mrs. Richelle Shelton, Principal at George R. Stuart Elementary School, shared news of her upcoming retirement with her Stuart staff on Thursday. Mrs. Shelton will continue as Principal of George R. Stuart Elementary School for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year. Mrs. Shelton began her career with Cleveland City Schools in 1996 as a Kindergarten teacher at Yates Primary School. She served 16 years at Yates Primary School, 1 year at Cleveland Middle School, and 2 years at Mayfield Elementary School before transitioning to the principal role at George R. Stuart Elementary School in 2015. Mrs. Shelton has served as the Principal of George R. Stuart Elementary School for the past 7 years.
