Tim Siniard reports: A domestic assault case involving Bradley County Commissioner Erica Davis was dropped Thursday during a Bradley County General Sessions Court hearing.

After calling out Davis’ name, Sessions Court Judge Sheridan Randolph announced the decision.

Randolph made no additional comments.

The case stemmed from an incident that took place on May 8, in which Davis and her husband, James Davis, engaged in a heated argument, resulting in the commissioner’s arrest. She was later released on her own recognizance.

Davis was elected to represent the Bradley County Commission’s 6th District in 2018. She is employed with Bradley County Schools.
