His service was held at the Wolf Creek Baptist Church in Rhea County.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is still working to figure out how Stevens got stuck on the railroad.

Kaitlyn Gebby reports: Clean schools were the focus of discussions at Thursday’s Bradley County Board of Education work session

A committee of school officials, cleaning staff and board member Amanda Lee will oversee the correction of language throughout a cleaning contract to prepare for a possible rebid later this year

The current contract with ABM Industries Inc., a facility services company based in Chattanooga, expires in June.

Since the school board cannot vote in a work session, members discussed the two options moving forward with the contract. The contract may either be rebid to another company and possibly for a better price, or the current contract with ABM could be renewed for two years.
