Nick Saban is again the highest-paid coach in college football after the Alabama board of trustees compensation committee on Tuesday approved a new contract for the 70-year-old football coach that expires in February 2030. The eight-year contract is worth $93.6 million with an average annual salary of $11.7 million.
Brian Rice, an award-winning sports talk show host, and broadcaster with 10 years of experience as the radio play-by-play announcer for lady vols softball was announced on Tuesday as the new voice of lady vols basketball. Rice, a Knoxville native served as a fill-in for Mickey Dearstone on two Tennessee women’s basketball broadcasts in 2020, and will also host the Kelly Harper TV show.
