The Cleveland City Board of Education early Thursday approved an addition to the Cleveland High School wrestling center to accommodate a girls wrestling team. The board approved an allocation of $396,500 to extend the Jones Wrestling Center to house 20 lockers, a bathroom and shower for the Lady Raiders wrestling team. The monies will come from the school system’s construction funds. Also approved was an additional $15,000 for LED lighting for the center. Hal Taylor, city schools director of operations, said the allocation will help with other areas around the wrestling center.
