Gary Rankin, Tennessee’s all time high winningest high school football coach, is the new coach at Boyd Buchanan. Rankin resigned from Alcoa earlier this month after 16 years, and 13 of his state record 17 championships at the school, including the last 7 straight. Rankin has the 4th best record in the nation 467-73, and is the only coach in state history to win 400 games.
