From NewsChannel 9: Police say a minor was hit by a car in Cleveland.
Tuesday the Cleveland Police Department responded to a crash involving a minor and a vehicle at Adkisson Dr. and Catherine Cir.
They say the vehicle involved was traveling southbound on Adkisson Drive when the minor entered the roadway on an electric scooter.
The driver told Cleveland police that he attempted to brake, but was unable to stop before colliding with the minor.
Cleveland police say the minor was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
