Details:
Hailing from South Korea, Country GongBang is a quintet of fabulous pickers brimming with talent and youthful enthusiasm! They formed as a band in 2014 after falling in love with bluegrass music through YouTube. They have since released two full length albums, and while they are primarily active in their home country of South Korea, they have built quite an online following through social media.
After performing online for a California Bluegrass Association benefit concert in 2020, they began to gain even more attention and were invited to play for the International Bluegrass Music Association’s (IBMA) “Virtual World of Bluegrass” in 2021. This gained them the notice of booking agents across the globe leading them to play at the prestigious La Roche Bluegrass festival in France in 2022. In 2023, they were the recipients of the IMBA International Band Performance Grant which allowed them to come to the USA for the first time, and of course that has now culminated in their first full US tour in 2024.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see this incredible band right here in Cleveland, TN!!
As a special bonus, we’ll be offering a Korean Southern Fusion meal prepared by Executive Chef Kim Frank prior to the show from 5:30pm to 6:30pm for $22 each. Limited seating available.
