Cleveland State Community College will host a celebration for social work students, community partners, university representatives and alumni in honor of National Social Work Month on Tuesday, March 28th.

The event will include a luncheon and themed door prizes. The Social Work Department has hosted this event since 2005 as a way to celebrate the social work profession and current and future social workers.

Representatives from various universities with College of Social Work Programs will attend the celebration to assist current students who are planning on transferring to their institutions. Cleveland State’s Social Work Emphasis Program has articulation agreements with UTC, UTK, Dalton State College, Southern Adventist University, Tennessee Wesleyan University, MTSU and ETSU.
