John Squires- Cleveland State Thrive Partnership

We were joined on Mix Mornings by John Squires to talk about the Cleveland State Thrive Partnership and it’s benefits.

About Thrive Partnership:

Thrive Regional Partnership is an unprecedented, collaborative organization that unites people across the growing tri-state region to preserve community and natural character for generations to come. Their footprint includes 16 counties across northeast Alabama, northwest Georgia, and southeast Tennessee.

In an inaugural multi-state collaboration, Cleveland State Community College will support Thrive Regional Partnership (Thrive) and Georgia Tech’s Center for Spatial Visualization and Planning (CSPAV) in the development of the Greater Chattanooga Freight Hub (GCFH), an open source database to understand freight capacity and explore multimodal freight transportation in the tri-state region.

This collaboration is concurrent with the development of a Logistics and Supply Chain Management degree program at Cleveland State Community College. The program provides practical opportunities for Cleveland State students to explore and learn data analysis and visualization.
