Cleveland City Council declared May 22 ‘Chief Bobby Gaylor Day’

The Cleveland City Council met yesterday.

 

During the work session of the council, a proclamation was read making May 22nd Chief Bobby Gaylor Day. Gaylor will retire this month after 29 years of service with the Cleveland Fire Department. In response to the proclamation, Gaylor said “I’ve had a wonderful career. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. I have enjoyed working with all of you, especially the men and women of the Cleveland Fire Department.”

 

Gaylor’s last day is May 31st. 

 

 The next City Council meeting will be held on Monday, June 12th.
