The Bradley County Commission met on Monday, during which Bradley County Mayor D. Gary Davis reported that Bradley County COVID-19 numbers are still up somewhat, however, hospitalizations are down. He recommended everyone still follow the four guidelines. According to Mayor Davis, approximately three thousand vaccinations were given last week. During the meeting, the Bradley County Schools budget amendment was unanimously passed, allowing one-time bonuses to be paid to qualifying employees. All certified full-time personnel will receive a $1,000 bonus. Classified full-time personnel will receive a $500 bonus. All part-time certified or classified personnel will receive a $250 bonus.
