There will be several Independence Day celebrations in our area tomorrow.

 

Cleveland’s Annual Freedom 4th of July Fireworks Celebration will be held on Thursday, July 4th.  Fireworks start at approximately 9:15 p.m. next to Bradley Square Mall. WCLE will broadcast the music for the event on Mix 104.1 and ESPN Cleveland 101.3!

 

The City of Charleston will host the “Charleston Sizzling Summers Independence Day Celebration” at Hoyt Berry Municipal Park.

 

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature local crafts and vendors, local food, snack, candy and refreshment vendors, and local nonprofit agencies.

 

There will also be an inflatable water slide and a Slip ’n’ Slide, along with kids’ games and activities.

 

Etowah’s Independence Day celebrations at the Old Train Depot will kick off at 7:00 AM with breakfast with hourly events all day long, including several bands, until the fireworks show officially starts at dusk. Officials say you want to be onsite by 7:30 to view the fireworks. 

 

The City of Athens will hold its annual celebration at Athens Regional Park. 

 

The park and and the splash pad will be open and operating until 8:30 p.m. with the concession stand opening at 7 p.m. in preparation for the fireworks show that is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. If you plan on going to the park to watch the fireworks show, you must be inside the park by 9:15.
