Four elementary school students with perfect attendance in school year 2022-23 will soon know this sound well.

All the names of students with perfect attendance were brought together, and two from Cleveland City Schools and two from Bradley County Schools were randomly drawn to receive a free bike, courtesy of Scott’s Bikes and the Cleveland Masonic Lodge.

Winners gathered at the CCS Central Office on Wednesday, May 24, to claim their fresh set of wheels.

All four of the students were given a certificate for the value of the bikes which were present for a photo opportunity with school officials, so the students will be able to go with their parents to Scott’s Bikes to select from over 300 bikes to find one that is to their liking.

Helmets and other biking accessories are also available.

Dr. Linda Cash, director of Bradley County Schools, noted there was one student who graduated with the class of 2023 from Walker Valley High School who had perfect attendance from kindergarten through his senior year of high school.

If these students keep up their perfect attendance, they may be eligible for a lot of bicycles in the future.
